Where solid precast walling provides privacy from prying passers-by, concrete palisade fencing allows for additional security in that it offers a level of visibility. Each type of barrier has its unique advantages and some may prefer one to the other or a combination of both. Many individuals may feel either secure or confined by the solid variation. Being able to see through the other may allow for more pleasant scenery, give an illusion of space or warn of an approaching threat to the premises or people in it.
Either way, concrete palisade fencing has fast become the new normal in industrial, commercial and domestic applications. It offers strength and durability and could save thousands in comparison to alternative perimeter fencing solutions. It lends toward additional security on all borders of the property if the premises needs to be constantly patrolled and protected and is aesthetically pleasing too. Additionally, the product may be topped off with electric fencing, razor coil or flat wrap razor wire to add both height and security to the structure.
An Extra Strong Concrete Structure
Since the pillars (or posts) and cross beams of the structure carry the load of the mounted upright struts, the material they are made from needs to be extra strong. These elements, along with the suspended upright struts between the posts are supported and reinforced with fixed steel rods inside them. This adds to the normal strength of regular walling solutions.
The connections between the posts and the beams are formed, interlocked, slotted tongue and groove joints forming a strong grid of steel and cement. Since their makeup is so strong, it would take an incredible amount of force or a lot of noise to penetrate the walling, which would draw attention to any potential intruder making for an extra strong concrete security structure.
So much faith has been placed in the strength and durability of concrete palisade fencing that you may often find them separating people from high-speed traffic along national roads, surrounding schools and municipal grounds. However, more and more property owners are seeing the benefits of this almost indestructible barrier and are including them in their home and business security solutions.
